After the progressive explorations of 'Journey Through Lands Unknown', Pantheïst return in 2011 with a more consistent, yet still unpredictable offering. Their most accessible album to date, it leans as much on a cleaner sound as it does on extreme doom.
Taking diverse influences from Anathema as well as King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Devin Townsend and Skepticism, Pantheïst create their own unique take on what Grau records has labelled 'emotional doom'. The interesting term 'post funeral doom' was even used a few times by fans and reviewers. As ever, feel free to listen and make up your own mind!
The album features the track 'Be Here' which has become one of the most loved tracks of the band's back catalogue, and was treated to a remarkable videoclip by Alexander Decommere which you can view here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQekKRTflhU
